My family and I are passionate about camping. We aren’t seasoned campers but we have been quite a few times over the past two years and have developed a real love for both camping and glamping (glamping post to follow at a later date). We enjoy everything about it; the fresh air, feeling one with nature, being away from the rat race, the lack of mobile phone signal, cooking meals over a camp fire, watching the kids run wild. UK
Thistledown – A large family run site in the Cotswolds. With over 70 acres of land and no allotted pitches it is possible to find a very quiet spot here.

Nethergong Camping – A kids paradise with lots of little pathways and interesting areas to explore. Located in between Whitstable and Margate in Kent.

Northmoor Lock Paddocks – A back to basics campsite reminiscent of the 70’s, with lots of charm and right on the bank of the Thames in Oxfordshire.

Alde Garden – This charming and carefully laid out site is situated in the grounds of a lovely award winning gourmet pub in Suffolk.

Housedean Farm Campsite – Located amidst the lovely rolling hills of the East Sussex Downs.

Low Wray National Trust Campsite – This well run site is on the quieter side of the stunning Lake Windermere in Cumbria.

FRANCE
Camping Milin Kerhe (Brittany) – Idyllic location in the heart of the Brittany. Perfect for a getaway with the kids.

Camping Milles Etoiles (Gorge de L’ardeche) – Beautiful campsite overlooking the Ardeche River.

PORTUGAL
O Tamanco – This charming and down to earth campsite is located between Porto and Lisbon on the Costa da Prata. It is a perfect spot to chill out and enjoy all that this special region has to offer.

Stella Mare – A beautifully located site on the hills overlooking a stunning beach on the Island of Elba off the coast of Tuscany.

NETHERLANDS
Camping de Roos – This large, friendly and well thought out site is spread out over many acres. There is plenty of space for all and a range of onsite activities to keep the kids preoccupied.

SPAIN
Can Coromines – A lovely family run campsite in rural Girona.  Set in the grounds of a 15th Century Catalan farmhouse. A perfect place to explore the delights of Catalonia.
