My Top 5 Autumn Breaks
I’m feeling a sense of loss now that summer is officially over. There is nothing like a little trip in the autumn to brighten up the spirit. Check out my top 5 Autumn breaks!
PARIS ‘is always a good idea’. I love this city! I recently visited Paris and discovered a new side to this town.
WHERE TO STAY
Hotel des 3 Poussins – Simple and affordable hotel in the heart of the funky 9th arrondissement.
Hotel Robinet d’Or – Reasonably priced hotel in the up and coming 10th arrondissement.
COPENHAGEN – City of design, bicycles and of course the brilliant Noma restaurant! This is a great place to visit for a weekend or longer! Make sure you go with an empty suitcase so that you can fill it with Danish goodies!

Ibsens Hotel – This well priced urban boutique hotel is located in the heart of the vibrant Nansensgrade area of Copenhagen.
Axel Guldsmeden or Bertram Guldsmeden – Lovely boutique hotels in the Vesterbro area of Copenhagen
AMSTERDAM – This is one of my favourite cities in Europe. It’s vibrant, stylish, easygoing and most places are accessible by foot or at least bicycle.

Canal House This luxurious boutique hotel (which is the sister hotel to Cowley Manor in the UK) is located in Jordaan – my favourite area of Amsterdam

AUSTRIAN LAKE DISTRICT – Simply one of the most stunning places in Europe and is a great all year round destination.

Hotel Gasthof Zur Post Located in St Gilgen, Wolfgangsee.
Seehotel Grundlsee This lovely hotel is located in Grundlsee, my favourite lake in Austria.
CORNWALL – I will always have a soft spot for Cornwall. I love visiting this part of the world especially in October/November.
